FAQs

Q: Is this mask pregnancy safe?

A: Yes. Based on the product information provided, this mask is identified as pregnancy safe. If you have individual medical concerns or have been advised to avoid specific ingredients, check with your healthcare professional.

Q: Can I use it on sensitive skin?

A: Use caution if your skin is very sensitive or reactive. Although the formula was clinically shown to be non-irritating in a 24-hour patch test of 30 subjects, the rice particles and cooling agent may still feel stimulating for some skin types. Patch testing first is a good idea.

Q: What does the mask smell like if it's fragrance-free?

A: There is no added fragrance, but the rice-derived and fermented ingredients can create a noticeable natural grain or rice-wine aroma. Reviews show that some customers find this scent stronger than expected.

Q: Is the thick, grainy texture normal?

A: Yes. Reviews frequently mention its thick, creamy texture and noticeable rice particles. Those particles are intentionally included for gentle physical exfoliation, so the mask will not feel completely smooth.

Q: What if I feel tingling while wearing it?

A: A mild cooling or tingling sensation can occur, and several reviewers noticed it around more delicate areas. If you experience persistent discomfort, burning, or redness, rinse the mask off and discontinue use.

FAQs

Is this mask pregnancy-safe?

Yes. Based on the product information provided, this mask is pregnancy-safe and does not rely on aggressive actives for its weekly exfoliating and purifying care. If you have specific pregnancy-related concerns, you can always check the ingredient list with your healthcare professional.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It may not be ideal for very sensitive or reactive skin. Although a 24-hour patch test on 30 subjects found the formula non-irritating, customer reviews show that some sensitive or dry-skin users experienced tingling or redness. Patch test first and avoid using it on an irritated or compromised skin barrier.

Why does it have a noticeable smell if it’s fragrance-free?

Fragrance-free means no added fragrance, but the rice-derived and fermented ingredients have their own natural scent. Several reviewers described a noticeable grain or rice-wine-like aroma, so this is worth considering if you are particularly sensitive to smells.

Is the thick, grainy texture supposed to feel like that?

Yes. The mask has a thick, creamy texture with visible rice particles, and several reviewers noticed this immediately. It may feel different from a smooth clay mask, but the texture is intentional and allows for gentle physical exfoliation during rinsing.

Will it leave my skin feeling dry after rinsing?

It is formulated differently from traditional clay masks that dry into a tight, cracking layer. Honey and other moisture-supporting ingredients help keep the mask slightly moist, and reviewers commonly described their skin as soft or moisturized afterward. Very dry or reactive skin may still prefer less frequent use.
